Randy Doty

Professional Background


Mr. Doty currently holds the position of Regional Manager with ClubCorp, overseeing Chicago and portions of Ohio and Kentucky. ClubCorp is the world leader in the Private Club Industry owning and operating over 200 Business, Sports, and Country Clubs in the United States. The company also owns resort and international club properties around the world. He has been recognized by ClubCorp as a winner of the company’s Rising Star Award, Shining Star Award, and a nomination for the top honor, The Best of the Best Award.

Prior to joining ClubCorp, Randy worked in the Hospitality Industry in many capacities. He has worked with Fortune 200 companies, and has also owned his own ventures including a food service consulting company, and an operating/ownership share of a top ten Ohio restaurant.

Special Interests


Randy is a Certified Third Degree Black Belt through the World Taekwondo Federation, The Kukkiwon, the governing body for international Taekwondo, and the United States Taekwondo Union, which is the sanctioning body for the Olympics. He is also a Certified Level One Coach through the USTU. Randy owned and operated a Taekwondo school in Columbus Ohio, where he focused his training on children and young adults with a focus on the mental and spiritual development of young athletes. He has won twelve State Championships and two national medals as a competitor and continues on the competitive circuit as both a competitor and coach.

Charitable Experience


Through his work in private clubs, Randy has been able to partner with many Charity organizations to help make a difference in the local community. Recent charitable events have benefited such worthy organizations as; The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Children’s Hospital of Southeastern Michigan, Make a Wish Foundation, and Lutheran Services Children’s Charities.

Prior to his work with private clubs, Randy was involved in various charitable activities. He was a founding sponsor and provider for the Shriner’s Burn Center New Albany Polo Classic Barbecue. His top ten restaurant gave 10 % of its profits to charity as a condition of its corporate charter. On a more personal level, Randy has used his martial arts training ability to reach out to children and young adults, often for no fee, to offer them the opportunities that martial arts offered Randy. A goal oriented, drug free lifestyle for young martial artists is a personal mission.
